Honda Announces New Cohort of Honda Dreams Scholars

Honda has introduced the newest group of recipients for its Honda Dreams Scholarship program, which is a key initiative within the long-standing partnership between Honda and The Ohio State University. The latest scholars include (back, left to right) Leah Vicory, Nando Febus, and Mateo Perales, and (front, left to right) Nathan Lu and Suraya Abukar.

The Honda Dreams Scholarship is a cornerstone of the Honda–Ohio State Partnership, a unique collaboration that spans more than two decades and supports a range of initiatives in education, research, and public service. This partnership aims to positively impact students, faculty, the public and private sectors, and the transportation industry. Over the past 20 years, Honda has donated more than $68 million to Ohio State, funding faculty, student programs, and research efforts.

Through the scholarship program, recipients gain valuable opportunities to connect with Honda associates, apply for co-op positions at Honda, and participate in collaborative projects between Honda and Ohio State. These experiences are designed to enhance their academic and professional development while fostering innovation in the transportation sector.
