Research engagement at Ohio State takes on many forms depending on your needs. Sponsored research is what we typically support between the University and Industry partners. We start by identifying the research needs of the industry partner, then we connect them with the appropriate resource whether a professor, researcher or other and make the connection to begin discussion on what the goals are for the engagement. Our Corporate Partnerships team will help guide your relationship and be an advocate for you and your goals every step of the way.
More than 600 innovations developed at Ohio State are licensed to companies helping develop them into beneficial products and services. Ohio State technology has also been the basis for more than 100 startup companies.
