Two more Ohio State startups acquired
Innovate IP
Cayuse LLC, based in Portland, Oregon, recently launched Cayuse Inventions, a cloud-based enterprise platform tool built to manage all aspects of the lab-to-market process related to technology transfer, IP management, and research commercialization. Cayuse Inventions was originally developed in 2011 by the tech transfer professionals at Ohio State and licensed to Innovate IP. The startup further developed the application in partnership with Ohio State, Duke University, Washington University, St. Louis, and other research organizations. Read the full press release.
TransChart, LLC
San Francisco-based CareDx, Inc., a precision medicine company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers, announced it had agreed to acquire TransChart LLC, an Ohio-based provider of electronic health record software supporting the needs of United State transplant centers. TransChart is based on technology designed by Ohio State clinician Ronald Ferguson, professor emeritus of Surgery. Read the full press release.
