USPTO
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is the federal agency for granting U.S. patents and registering trademarks, protecting and investing in the ingenuity of American inventors and entrepreneurs worldwide. This has led to invention of new products, discovery of new uses for old ones, and employment opportunities created for millions of Americans. The USPTO provides training, education, and capacity building programs designed to foster respect for intellectual property (IP) and strengthen IP enforcement.

TIPA
The Inventor’s Patent Academy. Are you ready to turn your idea into a reality? After you contact our Tech Commercialization team to file an invention disclosure, patenting inventions is the best way to protect them.
Format: Videos representing inventors from diverse backgrounds and fields.
Total time: 7-9 hours. Module-1 and Module -3 are two hours each and Module-2 is three hours.

Too many inventors and corporations are harmed by having their ideas stolen or by unknowingly performing actions that result in losing rights to protect aspects of their ideas.
